NOTES ON THE CLOCK is a twice weekly service that analyses National Hunt races from a unique angle.

Andy’s sophisticated and unique analysis of racing is the culmination of more than three decades of observation, reflection and analysis of racing data such as going, sectional times, track configuration, pace, field size, the effect of hype on the betting market, comparison times plus many other variables that govern and shape the way racehorses perform and betting opportunities unfold.

This service will be ideal for those wishing to have the benefit of Andy’s informed views throughout each week. At the same time Andy will be focussing plenty of attention on the weekend’s action.
NOTES ON THE CLOCK builds throughout the National Hunt season from the beginning of November until culminating at the end of April.

The  NOTES ON THE CLOCK service will focus mainly on races below graded level. From top-class handicaps at Cheltenham to novice hurdles at Sedgefield and Hexham.

This is not a tipping service but Andy will highlight any horses he thinks are worthy of a serious look at in any particular race.

You will build up a file of noted horses throughout the season and every Friday/Saturday Andy will discuss each horse in his tracker which is entered over the following few days. This information will be available on the website by around noon each Friday and/or Saturday.

Every Wednesday/Thursday in which Andy will offer his thoughts on a number of performances over the previous weekend.

He will also offer suggestions as to where and when each horse might be seen to best effect in the future.

Over the course of the season the number of horses in your tracker will build and be accessible via a very simple to use search tool. Using this tool means you can instantly access any notes on any horse mentioned throughout the season.

This is not a tipping service; however, Andy will highlight any horses he thinks are worthy of noting and/or adding to your list of trackers. You will receive a steady flow of highlighted horses twice weekly via the detailed previews and the in-depth reviews.

The service builds a complete database over the season

The Notes on the Clock database builds up over the season and every single horse from every Preview and Review post is added to the database.

You can search for any Horse, Course or Date Range to enable you to consider only horses entered today or over the following few days.

You can also printout sections of the database so you can have this in your back pocket when you go racing or are watching the racing on the TV.
